"The inspirational stories shared by those who have been helped by Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City provide a glimpse of the wonderful work being done in your name through your support of our brothers and sisters in need. As I mentioned in my recent pastoral letter, we must work to build a culture of discipleship and conversion by living as missionary disciples who are called to make a difference in the lives of others.
The Archdiocese has teamed up with Covenant Eyes and several other dioceses to create a central online resource to help fight internet pornography. It is at https://cleanheart.online/archdiocese-oklahoma-city Resources are available for ministry leaders, educators, parents, and those struggling themselves with pornography.
ATTENTION ALL parents, volunteers, and personnel of SPN. If you took SAFE ENVIRONMENT training PRIOR to JUNE 2014, you will need to RETAKE the training. As of last week, the Archdiocese is requiring everyone who works or volunteers with children and/or vulnerable adults, and have not taken the training or took it prior to June 2014, take the training and sign a new Code of Conduct.
If you took the training prior to June 2014, you do not need to fill-out a new application. You will only need to view the video and sign the new Code of Conduct. Both have been revised.
If you have never taken the training, you will need to view the video, fill-out an application, provide three references, agree to a background check, sign a Code of Conduct.
In light of the scandals in the Catholic Church, we all need to be aware and understand our responsibilities when it comes to abuse.
The next Safe Environment trainings are scheduled on October 17th at 8:30 am, and November 12th at 2:00 pm, in the St Gregory Room.
Please call Lorna at (405) 737-4476 to schedule your training. If you are not sure when you took your training, you can also ask her.
See the Safe Environment page for more info.
Since we first opened in 1954, our goals have remained steadfast. Our mission is to serve families in developing and nurturing the whole child to achieve academic excellence. The School community provides a safe, Catholic Christian environment in which each child can grow to be a contributing member of the Church and society.
For more than 60 years, St Philip Neri has carried on a tradition of excellence, preparing students for upper-level coursework while building a strong foundation of faith. Jesus Christ will always remain at the heart of all we do, whether in academics, athletics, or community service. St Philip Neri is more than a place to learn, it is a place to grow.

Many people expressed strong interest in plots and pairs of plots, and so far no one has asked for something wanted by another. For assistance in selecting a plot, call the church office and they or Larry Hopper will help you. A Cemetery Map shows the plots, but you must see Larry or visit the office to see which are available. Lots numbered in red are currently being sold, those numbered in blue are in a wooded area to be sold later. Orange and green shaded areas indicate walkways and areas reserved for the altar, Columbarium, and trees.
Plots are $500 each (no tax), please call the church office before you come down or mail in a check.
